Dog's Dental Care

One of the most overlooked issues a dog owner makes is not realizing the necessity of their dog’s dental care.  The younger your puppy is when you start caring for his teeth at home, the easier it will be to care for your dog’s teeth as they grow older.  Dog’s dental care will prevent gum disease which can cause more medical issues, so good dental hygiene is essential.  We have several items that are available for you to use at home to begin the routine of your dog’s dental care.  We have drops to put in their water to prevent plaque build up and to freshen your dog’s breath.  We have doggie tooth brushes and finger tooth brushes in a kit which you can use to massage your dog’s gums or brush their teeth.  Do not use cat or human toothpaste on your dog because it could be dangerous to their health and well being.  Creating a normal routine for your dog’s dental care at home should reduce some vet visits for a professional dental exam. Regardless of your pet’s age, it is never too late to start a routine for your dog’s dental care.
